With some delay, here is the design retrospective for February

If you read my last post you’ll know that I started this new challenge for 2018 — trying to post a retrospective each month. This month’s design retrospective got a little delayed because I had a ton of work — and spent some time playing Mafia 3 — but, in the end, here it is.

February went way better than January — that one was a real struggle. This month, I had some time to recharge my batteries, being away a couple of days with my wife (who still reviews my posts — so if this line is not there, she is the one to blame).

Also, I had the chance to reconnect with a good friend, that helped me a lot when I started in this field. So if you read this — Thanks :).

About work, mentoring & Designsnippet

EE — Dashboard

In February, as in January, my main focus was still on the Effective Experiments projects. We are working in small steps to improve our app’s experience both in the short and the long run. Right now, we try to juggle both fixing some of our app’s current issues and working on the new design.

Besides Effective Experiments, this month I started to work on a new project — fulfilli.com. Fulfilli is a price quoting tool, that helps you create and send some really nice looking quotes to your clients. On this project I work alongside another designer, who is in charge of the website, me taking over the app.

As for mentoring, in February, I finished 2 sessions with 2 different mentees. One of them is working on his portfolio, and the other one is in an internship program. Besides that, I already started a new bootcamp, with a new mentee. Looking forward to this one too.

Designsnippet is still struggling to get subscriptions and followers, and not being a good marketer, would need some help on this part. So, if you would like to give a hand on this one, don’t hesitate to contact me.
