Actually, we might have met already. We might have talked on one of the design meetups. Or did we chat in Phase Community? It could be even that we jumped on Skype to talk about design tools and process?

If we did, you know that we are just like you. Some of us are designers by job — but we are all designers at heart. We use digital design tools every day and wish to improve them.

Here we are — Phase team. We come from different backgrounds, 5 countries and 3 continents. Among us there are ex-hackers, architects, professional jugglers, serial entrepreneurs, MMA fighters and robotics experts. Some of us are husbands and dads.

We all have one goal in mind — create the one digital design tool designers will ever need.

We are not alone though. We are backed by the community of 15k creatives coming from more than 150 countries and 1500 cities.

Phase product team is based in Taipei, Taiwan. It’s a wonderful place which offers plenty of great places to work.

Phase engineering team is now seven people. Chad, Phase CTO, is leading the team. They all work really hard to ship the first beta of Phase v1 in the early summer.

Phase is made by wonderful designers. Wojciech is leading the efforts behind making Phase UI simple and intuitive. The trailer video, which so many of you loved, was made by Piotr, and our logo was carefully designed by Marcin. Riko has been helping us with the current website visuals.

You can follow our team on Dribbble, where we will keep you updated with the current state of the development of our app.

Besides Taiwan, we will be also based in Germany. Vlad is heading our community and growth team in Berlin. If you will be attending design meet-ups in upcoming months — keep looking for him!

Nick, Phase CEO, is currently traveling in between of Berlin and Taipei a lot. You may meet him at occasional design meetups and he’s always happy to jump into a discussion in our Slack community.

What We Believe

We have a clear vision what we want Phase to be in the future. We are building the digital design tool to finally let you design fully working products, intuitively and collaboratively.

We want you to spend more time being creative. No more switching between 10 different apps — we want to make the design process as efficient as possible.

Our community has always been a huge part of Phase. We are always open to hearing your ideas and problems that you’re facing in the current design process.

But there’s more! With Phase Magazine we want to take our involvement in the community one step further. Not only we want you to be a part of Phase development, but we also want to create a space where you will be able to share your knowledge and ideas.
