From the very moment we launched Plant, we began working to bring you a better and faster versioning plugin. During this time we made it our priority to incorporate the valuable feedback that you provided. Today we are ready to tell you all about our most recent improvements.

<h3>Empowering through visual guidance.</h3>
Any tool for designers, in addition to being stable and convenient, should maximize visual aspect of data that has been changed, and version control system is no exception. Therefore, we have globally improved Plant interface to maximize productivity and keep our users focused more on the creative process.
Thumbnails — Easily identify projects and the changes that have been made to artboards. This improvement will reduce the time you perform on routine tasks.

<h3>Improving stability and performance</h3>
The main task of a version control tool is to store all the changes without losing anything. Working on this update, we have redesigned the entire architecture of Plant, which made it much more stable and intelligent in terms of ensuring the safety of your versions.
New performance and engine enhancements allow for much faster syncing.
The conducted internal tests showed us the following results:

<li>Send Changes — 3x faster</li>
<li>Load Changes — 2.2x faster</li>
<li>Restore Version — 4.7x faster</li>
</ul>
Note: tests were conducted on a file with 400 artboards, with large number of symbols and nested-symbols.
<h3>What’s Next?</h3>
We want to reveal a little secret to you. This update is made not only to improve the visualization of changes and increase stability, but also will allow us to add new features which you requested, and we are already working on them.
