<h4>4 Reasons to accept a design gig</h4>

When a new client wants to work with you, you need a reason why. How do you judge if it’s worth your while?
While studying design, I was taught the following rule by my university lecturer <a href="http://dreibholz.com/">Paulus</a>. It was a great technique to apply when deciding whether to take a job or not. Seven years later, it has still stuck with me. So far, I have lived my freelance career by this rule and found its principles true to this day.
I don’t take credit for this, but here it is.
<h3>The Four F’s of Freelance</h3>
Before taking on any freelance job, you must pick at least two of these things as reasons:
<ol>
<li>Fame</li>
<li>Fortune</li>
<li>Friendship</li>
<li>Fun</li>
</ol>
If you are not able to pick at least two of those — then don’t do the job! It’s probably not worth it.
