One of a dozen different concepts I tried for the upcoming redesign. Ended up scrapping this one but thought it was worth a share.

I separated the Buy/Bid & Sell/Ask flows with a toggle so that it was clear that you could place a bid without having to buy (or place an ask without having to sell).

Because we had two CTA’s right next to each other, I color coded the amounts to their corresponding CTA.

To drive that idea home, I added a scroll transition so that the Highest Bid and Lowest Ask actually follows you down the view.
