Build Design Systems With Penpot Components
Penpot's new component system for building scalable design systems, emphasizing designer-developer collaboration.

My family, cousins and I spend so much time confirming the correct time to video call in each others time zones. With two timezones its barely manageable. Now imagine this across 3 or 4 timezones.
There have been many incidents of people calling me when I’m in deep sleep or me waking them up. So as a designer, this was a problem that needed solving.
An alert when calling late at night
Calling across timezones, especially at night, could be made more friendly.
Auto-generate local times based on everybody’s location within chats
Within chat groups with multiple timezone participants, this implementation could make it much more efficient.
This could also be implemented in regular SMSes and even the dialer. Latest versions of Samsung’s smartphones display a “Local time” label by the called number’s area code. With a more globalized world, these nifty additions could make a difference in the way we use our devices.
