Life is light, when you have zilch; Master to run, when you own anything.
Boasting an asset is a Pride;
Enduring it is not a Glide
Each mortal face some quandary:-
When you study, to get a degree.
When you have a degree, to find a job.
When you have a job, to own a wealth.
When you have a wealth, to run that.
When occupants have the obstacle of acquiring habitation,
owners face the obstacle of handling them.
Being a PG/rental abode owner is a treasure. It is an asset to our financial domain. We get a constant financial gain out of it every moon.
Everything seems secure enough!?!
Nope!
We grasp the quandaries that we, dwelling masters face.
There are always issues from tenants in multiple ways.
If we relish in a place far away from the rental house/PG, then it’s an added misery. Enduring tenants are wholly a tricky job.
When you scan your holders are moving fine, there will be some accounts on the house. There climbs the need to have a fitting critique of the revenue and outgo.
Once there lived two neighbors in Edinburgh, Abraham and Christopher. They both were giving residences for hires. Always Abraham seems stressful, when Christopher looked eased.
Abraham: Uuuhhh… How can I handle this ???
One day Abraham had an opinion of getting solutions for his enigma from Christopher.
Christopher: Why do you look so blue?
Abraham: I have a problem.
Chris: From occupants? Or Financially?
Ab: Not exactly. But in handling both.
Chris: Chill… Have a personal assistant (PA) to deal….That’s all.
Ab: I can’t bear so much too.
Chris: Come on…. I meant a handy pocket PA.
Ab: What do you intend?
Chris: I manage all my house, tenants details and accounts with the ‘My Tenant Application’.
Ab: Sounds high. I will follow too.
Anything difficult would have a simple solution.
The design of My Tenant application eases the stress of many audiences by presenting features that make the experience not only user-friendly but also interesting.
HOME SCREEN
Review….Remind….Settle…
I have followed 80/20 rule. There are options given for expenses, overdue, upcoming rent, invoice and control options. 80% of the users use the app for recording the cash flow.
Color can make designs more visually appealing and aesthetic.
Based on Attractiveness Bias, We have used the colors to give a charm, so the users can decide using it at the first view.
Fitt’s Law:
The time required to move to a target is a function of the
target size and distance to the target. So we have given the icons for Home screen, Contacts, Address at the bottom.
Flexibility in Usability:
All the selections required for an owner are given. The user can use what is demanded.
Being a planned owner, you can sidestep stress and win larger customers.
1. Cash flow- Track the accounts and review every moon.
2. Expenses- Document for each case (tap repair, electric bill, water bill, maintenance charges etc.,)
3. Get Notified- (Low water level, Problem in electricity or any).
4. Design and Set Reminder- (to collect rent, milk, bulb broken expenses etc.,)
5. Settle- Give Invoice to paid customers.
Plan and Win….
Consistency is followed. Spot easier as you go.
Staying distant from PG? Can’t tour often? No worries. We have solutions.
Iconic Representations:
The use of pictorial images to improve the recognition and recall of signs and controls. We have used the icons for representing buildings, invoice, cash flow and new room rents.
Interference Effects:
A phenomenon in which mental processing is made slower and less accurate by competing mental processes. We have avoided Interference Effects by removing unwanted options.
Control: The owner can possess the data of the tenants and observe their operations. There is a control over the number of tenants as well.
Happy renting….Happy living….
Mimicry:
The act of copying properties of familiar objects, organisms, or environments in order to realize specific benefits afforded by those properties. We have used the mimicry option for giving the floor details.
Verification gives you better feeling
Confirmation is given in the last page for successful payments.
A well-planned place is a festive place
‘Hectic house owners’ are now ‘Happy App users’. Fancy leasing your assets from where you are.
